likes:

• Collecting Cars- He has a vast knowledge of cars and has his favorites to which he prefers, especially his Volvo.
  
• The Piano- he is a very talented musician particularly when playing the piano
  
• Speed- Edward loathes driving slow, or doing anything slow for that matter, this included driving below 80 mph
  
• Music- such as classical, jazz, progressive metal, alternative rock, punk rock He prefers indie rock to mainstream, and appreciates rock and classical music equally.
  
• He likes certain music from the fifties better than the sixties.
  
• Remote Fashion- Edward has his own fashion in clothing and prefer to keep it that way, regardless of what Alice may say.
  
• Hunting- As most vampires enjoy hunting Edward is one who favors it, for it gives him the chance to release the animal he often tries so very hard to contain.
  
• Playing Baseball- This is a specific sport he enjoys playing with the family, often his team usually wins (due to cheating- but no one has to know)
  
• Bella - although he did in fact leave her for what he hoped was her own good, he has never stopped feeling for her, nor would he ever be able to forget. He is deeply in love with her and is one of his most treasured beings.

dislikes:

• The seventies- Edward has his preferences for musical genres, and the main one to which he loathes is the seventies, for the music was drizzle, however the eighties were bearable
  
• County Music- Edward dislikes Country music, in his opinion it is basically the same tune repeated over and over with a change of lyrics.
  
• Rosalie- At times he despises Rosalie for she is what she is, and they hardly get along, only on the rare occasion do they.
  
• As mentioned, Edward loathes Driving slow
  
• Being a vampire- This applies to many others, Although he is grateful for Carlisle choice at saving him, Edward is not best pleased with the fact of being a vampire, for you miss out on all the main human functions.
  
• Shopping With Alice- Edward along with most of the Cullen's is not particularly fond of shopping in general especially not with Alice for she usually has a tendency to go over bored on many things.
  
• Loosing - Edward although he likes a challenge, and although he is not a particular sore looser, yet as a vampire he dislikes loosing, but can shrug it off.

positive traits:
- Edward can be very understanding, when he wishes to be, most of the time he will take others opinions and then reconsider his own decision
- He is rather observant once again, he tends to notice things others may miss out on this is perhaps a trait that he carried over from his human life
- Caring, Edward cares deeply for his family and other around him particularly Bella, and he will do what he can to look after them not matter what others say.
- loyal, Edward is exceptionally loyal to both Bella and his family, this means that if they share a secret with him Edward will keep it to himself for it is not his to share, he is also loyal to Bella in means of relationship.

negative traits:
- short tempered, on the odd occasion Edward can be increasingly hot headed, acting without thinking or even listening to what others say.
- Masochistic, not so much a negative trait but it certainly sets him behind most of his family and other vampires alike.
- Over protective, most common in him, Edward is extremely over protective particularly of Bella so much so he is often then blinded to everything and everyone around him.
- Self loathing, unlike most of his family Edward lack the confidence would you believe? he does not see himself as worthy of Bella or of the family he has, so his negativity will once again get on many peoples nerves including Jasper's.

overall personality:

• OVER PROTECTIVE

[/b] - This is perhaps one of Edward's most noticeable personal traits.Both over his family and his friend he will always remain protective of them, simply because he does not wish them hurt, his concern is often too over the top, but in truth he cannot help it.
[/li][li]CHARMING - This is perhaps the most common one, Edward is said to be a charmer, after unintentionally dazzling unsuspecting humans, Edward is most of the time not aware of these actions, unless he has been told.
[/li][li]POLITE - Yet another favorable trait, Edward is always polite to others and his elders this is perhaps carried on from his human life, the fact that he was born and raised into such a high standard family. He is not one to answer back or argue to others. Although his siblings are the exception to this for he often gets into small squabbles with them.
[/li][li]SEDUCTIVE - This once again come with being a vampire, his scent, his smile, his eyes and even his tone are considered seductive which only aids in his purpose, although a vampire is originally designed to hunt and kill humans. These factors would prove to be most helpful as it stands, this is not the case none the less it does not stop the odd human swooning.
[/li][li]DETERMINED - Edward's most strongest point happens to be his determination for such things, one main fact to prove this is he reluctance to drink human blood. Another point, is how he creates a goal and sees it through until the end, one way or another.
[/li][li]STUBBORN - This is the most well known trait of Edward's his stubbornness, and reluctance to change his mind often gets in the way of his conscious, none the less, when his mind is made up he will stick with it and it is considered impossible to change his opinion, although this may be bit of an exaggeration, there is truth behind it.
[/li][li]HONEST - Edward is considered incredibly honest, when there is something he wishes to say he will say it, in the most subtle way as possible, none the less he will let his opinion be known.
[/li][li]KINDHEARTED - Metaphorically speaking of course, Edward is extremely kindhearted if the secret is not his to share he will not share it, if there is something someone wishes to know and although it may be bad Edward will often try and bu subtle in his words, he is not the most bluntest of beings. In turn, Edward will often put others welfare and safety before his own, he thinks of himself secondly his family in his opinion always come first.
[/li][li]OBSERVANT - although not quite like Jasper Edward has keen eyes he will watch and study the body language of other to determine their mood, this is also relayed through thoughts, being observant as he is and due to the fact he can read other peoples mind, this enables him to see the bigger picture, and place logical explanations to situations.
[/li][li]OPEN MINDED - Although he may not at the most part wish to acknowledge other peoples opinions there are times which he will accept and listen to other possible outcomes, if that outcome is in the best interest of that particular being.
[/li][li]IRRATIONAL - Edward is irrational he will often jump to action without thinking the situation through, he has a tendency to overreact easily, and play the role of hero, in the end it is only for what he considers the best way possible.[/li][/ul]
