this is melody olivia bishop. sound familiar? she wouldn't, not unless you're very familiar with the volturi. she's the kind of woman that can not only strike fear into the hearts of sailors (oh, she did a lot of that as a human), but into just about anyone. you see, mel's got the ability to manipulate free will though the power of song. yeah, she's a siren. born during the golden age of piracy, she was kidnapped as a teen by pirates. it didn't take long for her to discover what other secrets they held. they were vampires. they didn't change her. they kept her as a slave for a long time, until the volturi took charge of the situation. they discovered that melody had a great ability, and they decided she would be a valuable asset to them, so they changed her, but not before killing the vampires who'd taken her. melody's only changed one person in her entire second life. she was eighty-four, only having been a vampire for fifty-four years. basically, you want to be on mel's good side, or she'll manipulate you.
