Kate hadn't been all that lucky on her most recent hunt. She hadn't gone far, and therefore hadn't really expected all too much, but still, she'd only been able to find a couple of deer, which had kind of left her wanting more. She was making her way back to her house with golden eyes and her thirst satisfied... For now at least.
Running back to the house, her mind raced with things she could do once she arrived at her destination. She'd started reading a book a couple of nights ago. She supposed that she could try and finish it, but it normally took Kate more than a few days to read a book, since she normally got restless or bored, and had to do something else. She had a job, but it was daytime, and the bar that she worked at didn't open until the sun had gone down. It's why she'd chosen it in all honesty. She didn't have to worry about humans seeing her in the sunlight.
She was nearing the house now, and could hear that someone was in. It surprised her a little, since they'd all gone hunting at the same time, and it was normally Kate that arrived home first. She smiled though, she liked not being the only one at home. This meant she had another option for something to do, and it was the option she was going to go with. Slowing down to a walk, she entered the house and went to see who had beaten her home. She smiled as she saw the familiar strawberry blonde hair of her sister. "Tanya,"

Tanya's mood after her hunt was less than satisfied. Of course she had gotten herself enough blood to satisfy her, but emotionally, her mood was a bit down. On her way back to the house, Tanya couldn't help but think about her extended family down in Forks. The family that they didn't help fight against the new born army, and they were now feeling the repercussions of the Volturi because of it. Well, not exactly because of the war, but because of a child... But still, they were not there to help, and that irked Tanya. Now back at the house, Tanya walked about the living room, browsing the small bookcase - small in comparison to the one in the study - waiting for a book to jump out at her. She figured she could distract herself for the rest of the day by reading, then, when Kate would head into work, Tanya would follow her into the bar, and distract herself even more. Pulling a book out, Tanya then flopped herself down on the couch, and threw her legs up over the arm. The way wasn't exactly comfortable, but it was oddly relaxing. No sooner did Tanya close her eyes, taking in the quiet from a house that was rarely silent, she heard the door open. Looking around the arm of the couch, and her feet, Tanya saw her sister Kate standing in the walkway. "Kate," Tanya said, returning the one-word greeting, as she pulled her body up, and flung her legs around the arm of the couch and back onto the ground in on fluid movement. "How did your hunt go?" She asked, now sitting straight up, with the open book, face down, on her lap. OUTFIT.

Her sister returned her greeting and repositioned herself on their couch. Kate walked into the room, choosing the floor instead of a couch to sit on. Crossing her legs underneath her, she leaned her back against the dark wooden table that sat in the middle of the room.
"How did your hunt go?" Tanya asked, now sitting upright on the couch. "The jury's still out on that one..." Kate replied with a small smile. Sure, she wasn't thirsty anymore, her golden eyes were proof of that, but there was something there, deep down, that Kate couldn't quite put her finger on. The fact that she didn't know what it was annoyed her greatly. "How about yours?" Kate asked. "I'm normally first back. This is... different."
She continued, her sly smile appearing once again on her lips. Kate wasn't complaining. She didn't do all that well with the silence that she often came home to after a hunting trip. She was glad that someone had actually beaten her home for once. It gave her something different to do when she got in. Tanya couldn't help but to let a small laugh, mixed with a sigh, out at her sister's reply. "I know the feeling," Tanya said, as she pulled her own feet up off the ground, and under her body. She was having troubles getting comfortable now that she had moved from her former position of laying across the couch. "Well, it served its purpose," Tanya said, sounding less than enthusiastic. She gave her sister a small smile, after she mentioned how she was normally the first on back from a hunt. "Even though you weren't first back, you still were pretty quick." Tanya didn't even think about how fast her hunt had went when she returned home first. To be honest, she didn't realize that she was home first until she sat down on the couch, when she realized how silent the house really was. "My head's just not in the right spot," Tanya said, a bit randomly, to her sister, but she was sure she would understand it as to why she was back so early. "The fact that we didn't help the Cullens in that fight, and now they have the Volturi on their back bugs me." She said, throwing her head back, looking up at the ceiling. OUTFIT.

One word. All it took was for Tanya to say one word, and Kate grasped how she felt immediately. She watched her sister as she explained what was upsetting her. "Yes,"
Kate agreed. "I know how you're feeling." The situation was bugging Kate too. It seemed like ever since the coven in Denali had not offered their help to the Cullens, there was always a part of her that hadn't felt right. They'd said 'no' to Carlisle as a way of staying faithful to their other sister, Irina. Over the time between then and now, Kate - and Tanya - had felt the guilt that their decision had given them. Irina, on the other hand, felt little or no guilt what-so-ever. Or, if she did feel guilt, she had yet to let Tanya and Kate know about it. "It's been bugging me too. For a while." She said. And it was true, she'd been feeling the guilt since the Tanya had hung up the phone to Carlisle, but she'd kept quiet to please Irina. Now, whilst the revenge-seeking sister was still out, Kate was kind of relieved that she was able to talk about it. "We could call them..." Kate suggested, although she knew that it wasn't going to put their mind to rest, which was what both of them wanted. Kate didn't know how to make this one right. She bit down on her lip as she tried to think of a solution that made things right, not only with Carlisle and his family, but with their grief-stricken sister Irina too. Tanya felt like she wanted to explain, word for word, exactly how she felt to her sister. But that was the thing - she didn't need to. Not only was it nice to know that Kate knew exactly how she felt, but because Kate shared the feeling too, made it much simpler to have a conversation. Especially because they both knew Irina wouldn't be feeling the same way. It was strange how easily a man came in the way of the three sisters, who had shared everything for the past thousand years, but Tanya shrugged off the feeling. She didn't know what it was like, she figured, to lose someone like that. "Its a relief to know you feel the same," Tanya said, addressing Kate, bringing her head back around, meeting her sister in the eyes. Kate knew that Tanya had contacted Carlisle before the war, and how they had reached their outcome of staying away. "I don't know if that would do much good." Tanya said, shaking her head. "I mean, the last time we phoned them, we backed out of a fight." Tanya quickly thought of the situation in her head, as she had done for the past weeks. Finally, she believed she had come to a conclusion, even if it would upset Irina. "I think we may need to take a trip down to Forks." Tanya said, still playing situations out in her head. "I may just as well be the only thing that will put all of this to a rest."OUTFIT.

"I don't know if that would do much good. I mean, the last time we phoned them, we backed out of a fight." Kate's sister said, shaking her head as she spoke. Kate could almost hear the cogs working in her head as she tried to think up a practical solution to their worries. Kate wasn't really that good at practical. She was more of a 'spur of the moment' girl. Not always the best approach, Kate had realised, in her thousand or so years of existence.
"I think we may need to take a trip down to Forks." Tanya said, coming to a conclusion. Kate had wondered in the recent past if visiting the Cullen's in Forks would be the right way to do things, but she'd always been torn between her loyalty to the family in Washington, and to her own family in Alaska. Well, her loyalty to her other sister Irina, since she was the only one who had a problem with them right now. "It may just as well be the only thing that will put all of this to a rest." Kate agreed, but she could all too easily imagine their sister's response to this idea. "But Irina..."
Kate said, feeling that Irina's thoughts should be voiced in the conversation. "Not that I don't agree with you. I do, it makes sense. It's just that making these sorts of decisions without all of us here seems a bit... Unfair. On their behalf." Kate wasn't a hundred percent sure why exactly she was defending her sister, Kate was already looking forward to going down to Forks to visit her 'cousins'. "I know..."
Tanya had the feeling that Kate would bring up Irina. Tanya had thought about Irina, and her reactions to Tanya's idea of going to Forks, but she had never really played out the conversation out in her head when it came down to getting Irina to agree with the idea. Of course, Tanya could just pull the "I'm basically the decision maker of this coven" card, but that seemed like such a dirty move, and Tanya didn't do bitch well. "But it could put some sort of closure on it all for her," Tanya said, making the wheels in her head turn, trying to find anything that would help sell going to Forks to Irina. Tanya felt odd talking about Irina to Kate, but now that the two had started, she wasn't sure that they would drop the conversation until it was finished. "Its not like she can just avoid Forks until the Cullen's leave." Tanya said, not really knowing what else to say. Irina was stubborn, and convincing her to Forks may take the sisters ages. "We could get a house in Port Angeles, or even Seattle?" Tanya said, with her voice raised at the end, insinuating this new revelation of her's. So, if she wanted, Irina wouldn't need to take a step into Forks." OUTFIT.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
